Writing a thesis is not easy job . It all comes up of all the ways of ideas on finding topic research to final ideas to produce a final report. I believe everyone come out idea on how to complete it with a written of final year report. So, i believe that everyone deserves a pat on their shoulder. My whole thesis is under one of module course: that is called Research Methodology project.From the research project, I cannot make this duty is for my own responsibility.
Every member has a team work responsibility. The necessary thing, I should delegate my work to my team-member. I was disappointed of my group member; they thought that leader has the responsibility. I hold ‘leader responsibility to make sure everyone is ok with their job with the assumption that leader have to do their part if finding some difficulties. If facing some difficulties, I make sure my group member have to solve difficulties by themselves as group member. If can’t, please tell me, I will consult with my friends. I have a wide area network to ask every of my friend. I could ask anyone of it. As a leader of assignment/ project, I’m begging my fellow group member; please don’t let me to hold the responsibility for you. I got more work to do; please do not think you got more work to do than me. Despite argument and ‘war’ relationship, this research has taught positive learning experience doing this research project. I should set aside of this thing to put as ignorance. No one can blame on your ignorance. I know that to be a leader is not easy, I need to get the job done on time, and make sure the quality is there. It urges me to convey the procedures of conducting a meeting, importance of agenda and meeting minutes, and editing by peers. I found out that it is very efficient to prepare things for discussion before meeting as dragging of meeting will irritate and exhaust attendants. If meeting without prepare, it may cause social loafing in my group discussion. I have learnt how to plan the procedures of conducting a meeting, how to write agenda and how to prepare meeting minutes. I have also learnt how to communicate to get the message across. It is not merely a sentence. It should be supported with arguments, examples, or supported data if necessary to persuade others to adopt your concept. Sometimes ideas are easily thwarted if others do not understand what you are trying to suggest. I still have to work on interpersonal relationship. Being a supportive team player is important to keep the wheel turning and get things done. Without cooperation from team members, others are easily frustrated and demoralized. I have trying to be one by preparing information beforehand and suggesting lots of ideas to my group.
RESEARCH FINDING
I notice that finding my empirical results within Malaysia context is rather difficult / different as Malaysia’s environment practices are not hot spot in research yet. I tried to find that Malaysian’s professional & people has a low moral value and low courtesy ; likewise, they are not friendly when responding to questionnaire. They may though that it’s troublesome to them; this is totally opposite to foreign countries like United States. I like peer review in report. Incremental improvement has been made to writing report through instructive opinions when it involves editing and compilation by peers and group members. As the saying goes, wisdom comes from crowd. The more people there is to review and edit the report, the better the report will become.
I may hope that the oral presentation VIVA group can be presented believe that we can do the same in presentation as simple as possible to ensure everyone understand the concept. I help my team member to construct their work to present to make sure they can respond to presentation that we had done. Sometimes, I wish to enhance the practices of my presentation. Being a leader/ student is not an easy; I need to juggle my work and study at the same time. No doubt that my team members have done a great job in communication and Iand I believe that we can do the same in presentation.
